Paul brings to the practice 33 years of legal experience from Wisconsin and Illinois in the areas of criminal/OWI defense, divorce, real estate, and administrative hearings. Paul will provide quality legal service to O'Melia, Schiek & McEldowney, S.C. clients consistent with the firm’s century-plus tradition of excellence and professionalism.
O'Melia, Schiek & McEldowney, S.C. announces further that Attorney Todd McEldowney will be refocusing his practice. To cut the costs of divorce litigation, Todd will be specializing in mediation and collaborative divorces assisting parties in reaching a stipulated resolution in just a few months.
O'Melia, Schiek & McEldowney, S.C., partner, Larry Wiesneske, was recently elected to the State Bar Board of Governors to represent District 16 for a two-year term.
District 16 includes Oneida, Vilas, Florence, Forest, Langlade, and Marathon counties.
Larry Wiesneske received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1982. He is a member and past president of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association, a member of the State Bar Member Benefits Committee since 1999, a member of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bench Bar Committee since 1992 and a former chairperson of the State Bar Member Relations Committee. He is also a past president of the Rhinelander Kiwanis Club.
Todd McEldowney, Marquette 1980, has been appointed to the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board. He will be the liaison to the Division of Legal Services and Compliance. Todd has also served on the Rhinelander Police and Fire Commission since 1981 and is the current President. He has also been on the Oneida County Highway Safety Commission since 1983.

The Rhinelander High School Class of 1975 has donated $450 towrd the Todd McEldowney Memorial Press Center at Mike Webster Stadium. Pictured are Class of '75 representative Dawn Panzer and Todd McEldowney Jr., who accepted the donation on behalf of the McEldowney family.

Bill Clow, Executive Director, from the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce presented O'Melia, Schiek and McEldowney, S.C. with a Certificate of Recognition for 20 Years of Membership.
Pictured, from left to right, are Sevanista Agrippa, Kiwanian Larry Wiesneski, and Colton Fralick. Aggripa has served as a nursing assistant for youth options and participated in FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America). She plans to attend Washington State University and pursue a degree in nursing. Fralick participates in tennis, cross country, and track.
Additionally, he is a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and has gone to the FBLA state competition for two years. He was also captain of the debate team and a member of student council. He plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and pursue a degree in Information Technology.
Appellate Court overturned an Oneida County Circuit Court decision and ruled that the "best interests of the child" standard does not separate the statutory right to relocate.
